New National Clubs Mixed Team Knockout competition 2022

SCORE UPDATE:

Unfortunately, the team lost on a wet day in August away at Belton Woods. A huge thank you to all of the couples who represented the club in this event (Sue Sills & Richard Sills/Steve Hawley, Yvonne & Mark Brook, Caroline & Angus West, Karen & Mike Gilbert, Gareth & Helen Maber and Sue Northridge & Phil James).

It was a great format and an enjoyable competition to play in & we will definitely be entering as a club again next year. If anyone is interested in being involved next year, please let Caroline or Angus West know.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION:

This is the only UK National mixed team club knockout competition & this year BFGC have entered a team

All golf clubs in England, Scotland and Wales can enter a team of 5 mixed pairs, with knockout matches to be played on a regional basis.

The four regional winners will qualify for the the grand finals in Portugal in early November

To date we have beaten Chilwell at home in the first round, Erewash away in the second round and Derby GC at home in the third round
