Thursday 24th March - Removal of Golf Mats

Over the winter period we have been using the portable golf mats to help protect the golf course from the harsh winter conditions. We are now at a point where we feel it is fit to lift the mat rule and allow everyone to hit off the turf again. So from today you will not need to use your mat on any part of the golf course. However we will still be enforcing preferred lies on closely mown areas until the golf course is ready to allow no winter restrictions. Thank you to everyone that has followed the mat rule over this period, it is appreciated by us all.
