Junior Open 2022 ... Tick ... Tick ... BOOM!

The Junior Open went with a bang this year as Amelie 'Millie' Browne of Beeston Fields won round her home course with a fantabulous score of 91 - 38 = 53.  I'm going to keep her away from my vinyl collection because she's definitely a record breaker!

Other winners on the day were Molly Campbell who shot the best gross with a 77 and Leo Browne who won the 9 hole event with a score of 57 (a great day for the Browne family).  The 5 hole event was won by Rory McCallion with a score of 29.  

31 junior golfers competed across all events, the weather was fine, etiquette was good and the whole day went without a hitch.  A big thankyou to Ava in the pro shop for all her help on the day and to the greenstaff who had the course in tip top condition.  Full list of winners is in the results section of the website.
