Lady Captains Drive In - 2 December

On a very sunny Tuesday 2nd December, the new Lady Captain, Rose Booth drove off from the first tee to formally mark the start of her year.

All the ladies wore their face masks for the drive off photos but did take them off to play golf thankfully.

Starting with a Baileys tipple and Mince Pies, around forty ladies took to the course and played either 8 or 14 holes. We had more drinks and chocolates out on the course, and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

Afterwards we enjoyed lunch followed by prize giving to the competition winners. Rose introduced Rhiana Lakin, a representative from Headway Nottingham, the ladies chosen charity who also gave a brief presentation.

A huge thank you to all the ladies for supporting the event and helping to raise £265 towards the Captains charity Headway.
