The First Quiz Night of 2026 on January 15th maintained its popularity from the previous year's social events. With 17 Teams and well over 100 people participating. (photos 2 & 3). We even struggled for enough chairs to sit on.
After a very close-fought battle (believe it or not) (and we checked it TWICE), Itwas Congratulations to The Saga Spice Girls with 58 points, narrowly beating The Trivials on the tie-break. Tie-breaks played a major part in separating the minor placings, with 6 teams tying on 54 points. The winning team can be seen pictured with the Quizmaster John Simpson, being presented with their 1st prize.
