Below are fixtures for all ladies competitions
Any combination Better Ball Pairs Stableford. Men playing from the white tees and ladies from the red tees. All guests must have a current WHS handicap index.
Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 85% of Course Handicap, subject to a maximum Course Handicap of 36 (i.e. maximum strokes received = 31)
Entry fee of £15 per pair will be charged to the member’s competition account, so please ensure your account is topped up in advance. An optional 2's sweep will also be available for £5 per pair.
Nearest the pin prizes for all 4 par 3's is included in the entry fee.

Our annual fundraiser in support of the Captains' Charities.
A team Am-Am stableford, with the best two scores to count on each hole. Men will play off the white tees and ladies off red tees.

The winner of each Division in the Thursday Mixed Medals from September 2026 to August 2027 will qualify for the 2027 Medal Finals to be played alongside the September Thursday Medal with the highest placed qualifier being crowned as 2027 Thursday Medal Finals winner. A list of qualifiers will be drawn up after the August Thursday Medal.

18 hole Greensomes Medal, men playing from the White tees, Ladies playing from the Red tees.
Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 40% of the higher Course Handicap plus 60% of the lower Course Handicap, subject to a maximum Handicap Index of 39.8 for men and 45 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.
Each player in a group tees off as normal and the best tee shot is then selected and alternate shot is played until the completion of the hole.
Countback will initially be determined using the team handicap limit calculated to 1 decimal place. If this does not produce a result then the usual back 9, back 6, back 3...etc will be used.

18 hole American Greensomes Medal, men playing from the Purple tees, Ladies playing from the Red tees.
Both players tee off then play a shot using partners ball. Select the best 2nd shot then play alternate shots.
Countback will initially be determined using the team handicap limit calculated to 1 decimal place. If this does not produce a result then the usual back 9, back 6, back 3...etc will be used.

ClubV1 will automatically calculate your pair's 18 hole Playing Handicap (which is 60% of lowest Course Handicap plus 40% of highest Course Handicap - subject to an adjustment for ladies to reflect the higher course rating from ladies red tees - i.e. complicated!). All subject to a maximum Handicap Index of 31.2 for men and 39.8 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.

Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 25%/20%/15%/10% of the Winter Course Handicaps ranging from 25% of the lowest handicap to 10% of the highest handicap. All subject to a maximum Handicap Index of 31.2 for men and 39.8 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.
Any countback will initially be determined by exact team handicap allowance. Each individual handicap allowance is calculated to 1 decimal place and added together, multiplied by 7 and divided by 9 before rounding the total to 1 decimal place.
Each player in the team tees off as normal and the best of these shots is then chosen to be used for the next shot. Each member of the team hits their shot from that spot and this process continues until the hole is played out.
Each player should take at least 3 drives. Mark the score for the hole in the column of the player whose tee shot was used.
