Quiz Night Thursday 26th March 2026

Another excellent turnout for the March Quiz on Thursday 26th March 2026.
Twenty teams took part, with well over 100 people filling the clubhouse. It was a lively mix of Members, Family and Friends, and the atmosphere was exactly what makes these evenings such a highlight of our social calendar.

It was especially pleasing to welcome several new teams alongside our regular supporters, whose enthusiasm always helps to make the event such an enjoyable occasion. This was our third quiz of the new year, and once again the sense of community and good humour shone through.

I tightened the questions up a little this month—just enough to make sure you didn’t all stroll through with full marks. The first six places were closely fought, with the eventual winners ‘And Finally’ scoring 57 points, narrowly edging out ‘The Ladybirds’ on 56.

Unfortunatrly I had to do the results from memory as I left the sheets at the golf club and they were thrown away.
