A determined field of 28 Seniors took to the course for Stableford No. 6, armed with optimism, sunscreen, and the usual assortment of swing theories. The scoring was lively, the competition tight, and both divisions produced clear winners — though it a little help from the countback calculator.

🏆 Division 1 – Carruthers in Full Control

Alasdair Carruthers produced a superb winning round, racking up 11 pars on his way to an excellent 37 points. It was steady, controlled golf — the sort that makes playing partners quietly question their own life choices.

He finished six points clear of Drew Armstrong, who posted 31 points for second place. Armstrong’s back‑nine of 19 secured the runner‑up spot, edging out John Abbiss, who also scored 31 but lost the countback with a back‑nine of 18.
