The results of the Ladies Secret Santa competition

14 holes:

For any teams that think they had lower scores the competition description on the website explained that the 18 hole handicaps calculated by the system needed to be adjusted by 7/9. A couple of teams did do this but the remainder of the field didn't so may be disappointed and confused.

Great scores were returned. The span for all of the teams was from 40 to 47.

Congratulations to John Hawley & Paul (The Shorts) Baker on winning the Seniors American Greensome Stableford on the 12th of December 2024, with a score of 33 points over 14 holes.  

This was our Christmas comp with a Shotgun Start, and It brought back a lot of camaraderie in the clubhouse so we will be looking to do some more of these in the New Year.

Spare a thought for Tony Merrin who was about to play as a late entry favour to make up the numbers. Tony fell on his way to the Tee, resulting in a broken arm (just what he wanted for Christmas). We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back playing golf soon
